Symposium
On Friday afternoon we will feature two talks highlighting open problems in different areas of graph theory, given by Heather Jordon of Illinois State University and by Michael Pelsmajer of the Illinois Institute of Technology. We particularly encourage (graduate and undergraduate) students interested in pursuing research in graph theory to attend.
Reception
Friday evening we will host a reception in Kettler Hall on the IPFW campus. Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided free of charge; alcoholic beverages will be available at a cash bar.
Harary Lecture
Following the first contributed papers session on Saturday morning, Martyn Mulder of Erasmus Universiteit (Rotterdam, the Netherlands) will be delivering the Harary Lecture: Sylvester and Petersen and the emergence of graph theory.
