My current methodological work is focused on combining admixture mapping and association testing for population and family data, as well as evaluating and improving kinship estimation from genetic data of heterogeneous populations.
In addition to my research, I enjoy teaching mathematics and statistics, high performance computing, and playing with big
biological datasets, also known as bioinformatics.
