My research interests are in statistical genetics, specifically in developing methods for human complex traits. My current methodological work is on combining admixture mapping and association testing for population and family data.
I am involved in applied statistical genetics collaborative project where we study the vitiligo pigmentation disorder. Our latest paper was just published in The American Journal of Human Genetics this August:
Roberts GH, Paul S, Yorgov D, Santorico SA, Spritz RA. Family Clustering of Autoimmune Vitiligo Results Principally from Polygenic Inheritance of Common Risk Alleles. The American Journal of Human Genetics. 2019 Jul 18.

I also enjoy teaching mathematics and statistics, high performance computing, and playing with big biological datasets, a.k.a. bionformatics. For my teaching record please go to my teaching page.
