QUICK ANNOUNCEMENTS.
- Currently, I simply don't find the time to keep these pages updated, my apologies!

Join these groups if you're interested, and the benefits of the move will hopefully become clear to you soon. I'll also start twittering local Magic, send me an e-mail if interested.

- Player News
- The winners of our back to back Magic at Gen Con Qualifiers were Adam Hankins and Chris Kolkman (The Keep) and CJ Steele and Todd Ashcraft (DZ Gaming). Congrats, folks, we wish you best of luck now at GenCon!
- Recent Event Highlights
- We had a GP Trial February 21 for the Legacy Grand Prix Chicago. After we had a record attendance for our last GPT (42 players), this time around the turn-out was surprinsingly low (probably due to the snow storm), but we had a great variety of decks and lots of fun with players from both IN and MI. The final match was Len against Michael (from Elkhart), Goblins vs. TendrilsStorm: 0:2.
- We had 24 Xmas presents nicely wrapped in Xmas paper for our "Lost & Found" Tourney, Saturday, December 27th, but only 14 players showing up and claimig all the prizes. Folks, what is wrong is you??? ;-) Anyways, it was fun for those who were there, we played five rounds of constructed, and word is we should make it an annual event. Many thanks to The Keep, they threw in a number of additional prizes.
- Our WIN GOLD qualifier on Saturday, November 29th, had, with sixteen players, an average turn-out for that qualifier season but saw some exciting games. A highlight was surely the match between Chris (Indianapolis) and Len (Fort Wayne) in the fourth round; everyone became a spectator of their third game that was decided only in the fifth extra-turn. By chump blocking earlier, Len had bluffed his opponent into believing he were out of options. He then removed in the fourth turn both of Chris' attacking creatures with a cycled Resounding Silence, leaving Chris w/o blockers, so that he could swing for the match win in turn five. Chris Murphy (from Decatur) and Len won the invitation, with Ryan Brown and Adam Hankins on places three and four. Thanks to everyone for coming and congrats to the T4 finisher. Best of luck now for our two players at Worlds!
- Personal Blog
- I've been quite busy this year with my life outsie Magic, so there's not much I could tell. — Oh wait, I've never shared what I got a Worlds during the judge dinner: A very special, actually a totally unique judge rewards card, signed by Gijsbert Hoogendijk (LE), Sheldon Menery (L5), Toby Elliot (L5), Riccardo Tessitori (L5), John Carter (L4/Judge Manager), and Andy Heckt (DCI Outreach Manager); they picked "Epic Battle" mostly in reference to my epic battle as VCL on the DCI online boards.  (The other reward cards went to Ingrid Lind-Jahn, Chris Richter, and Carlos Ho.) — I worked the GP Chicago March 7-8 which, on one hand, was very exciting (the biggest US GP ever!); on the other hand, I was under the weather and could not really enjoy being there. The artist Alexander Rob was awesome, though; he did not only sign card after card while we're chatting, he also "decorated" my GP playmat and made it a unique souvenir. Thx Alex! — The SCG 5K tournament in Indy two weeks later was a blast; record turn-out (432 players) and a great crew (including rules NetRep Gavin Duggan as HJ) that made it a pleasure to be there judging for 15+ hours. Thanks, Nicholas, for putting me the staff list! — Now I'm looking forward working GP Boston and Gen Con Indy.
