Five Days of Leadership Training

During the program you will:

• Uncover your leadership potential.
• Practice leadership skills in a positive environment that encourages and supports risk taking.
• Acquire practical tools and skills you can apply to everyday relationships, school work, and community service.
• Immediately utilize new leadership and team-building skills to accomplish fun goals throughout the week.
• Take home a personal leadership action plan for the future.
• Build a relationships with other girls-friendships that could last a lifetime.

The Leadership KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes) we develop include:

• Group and individual influence and power
• Communication and public speaking
• Negotiation and conflict resolution
• The power of technology
• Self-awareness and self-coaching
• Leadership values
• Team building
• Fostering creativity

Goal of Our Leadership Program

The overall goal is to provide an opportunity for girls to consider new models of leadership and to develop their own abilities for exercising leadership in their lives. They will be introduced to communication and technology tools that can help them express their ideas.
