Mission Statement

The mission of the Center for Leadership Development (CLD) will be to develop innovative leaders to serve public, private, and non-profit organizations in regional, national and international communities. To accomplish this mission, the CLD will provide leadership development initiatives, foster leadership research and practice partnerships in organizations, and promote innovative and collaborative approaches to leadership and team development. Recognizing the interdisciplinary nature of leadership, the center also will serve as a hub for multidisciplinary collaborations for leadership training and development and for research.
