Parking on campus
Please note! There is some road construction going on near campus right now, which might interfere with getting into campus from the south (i.e. from North Anthony Blvd.). See the city's street closures site for specifics.
Here are some maps of campus and the surrounding area, to help you navigate your way to campus and find parking. We will have signs posted around the entrances to campus directing you on Friday and on Saturday. Student lots (with white lines between spots) are always free.
Getting to Fort Wayne
Fort Wayne is accessible by car on I-69 (the city is roughly halfway between Indianapolis and Lansing, MI), US-27, US-30, and US-33. It is served by Fort Wayne International Airport, offering directly flights to Atlanta, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, and Detroit.
For further information:
- IPFW and its Department of Mathematical Sciences.
- The Rivergreenway, part of the system of trails that runs through Fort Wayne. A branch of the Rivergreenway runs through the IPFW campus.
Accommodations
We have a block of rooms booked at the Holiday Inn Fort Wayne-IPFW for $90 a night; the block only applies to Friday night (the 3rd), but they might be able to extend the rate to Saturday on request. Book by phone: 260-482-3800.
There are a number of other hotels near campus along West Washington Center Road and Lima Road; two suggestions are Don Hall's Guesthouse and the Hyatt Place Fort Wayne.
IPFW has limited space in student housing that can be rented to conference participants and attendees. They have 2 bedroom/2 bath apartments and 2 bedroom/1 bath apartments, so students can share. If they mention that this is for the MIGHTY Conference at IPFW, cost is $25 per person per night (includes linens). Availability is first come/first serve and you would pay Housing directly. To make reservations contact the Resident Director, Jordyn Hogan, 260-481-0184.
