SENIOR RECITAL
All guitar concentrations must present a solo recital of 25 minutes or more.  Recital material is to be taken from the third and fourth years of study and must be approved by the instructor and a hearing committee.  The recital program must be comprised of works from at least three contrasting historical periods.  Studies are generally not acceptable.  Miniatures, if any, should be combined into larger, musically unified groups; e.g. collections of dances, preludes, song settings, etc. (see Student Handbook for further guidelines)
*  This syllabus is by no means a finite repertory list.  It is intended to primarily serve as a model in determining appropriate material throughout the four-years of study.  Students are encouraged to seek out others sources for repertory on their own.  However, all chosen repertory must be approved by the instructor.
