The IPFW Guitar Ensemble under the direction of Laura Lydy is one of the most popular ensembles on campus. Guitarists receive coaching in duet, trio and quartet ensembles. The ensemble provides students the opportunity to perform with other guitarists as well as with other instrumentalists/vocalists.
The ensemble performs a wide array of musical styles. Its primary focus is traditional Western European composition with an emphasis on Spanish, Latin American and contemporary works. The ensemble performs regularly on campus and as well as in many regional venues.
