Course Requirements
  • Group projects.
  • Participation: communication with the instructor and other students via forums, chat, email; several exercises; etc.
Course Objectives
  • Students will be able to define/describe the Internet and its relationship with the Web.
  • Students will be able to articulate the impact the Internet has had on the ways people communicate.
  • Students will be able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of electronic communication.
  • Students will have a working knowledge of several Internet based communication tools.
  • Students will gain experience working in virtual teams.
Course Policies
  • Late Assignments: No assignment will be accepted late without penalty, unless you notify me in advance and present documented evidence of illness or emergency.
  • Incomplete Assignments: Each incomplete assignment will decrease your final grade.
