Course Requirements
  • The creation of a Web site, including a home page and several other pages.
  • Publishing your Web site.
  • Several assignments will be given throughout the semester.
  • Participation: communication with the instructor and other students via forums, chat, email, etc.; exercises, quizzes, etc.
Course Objectives
  • Students will be able to articulate the relevance of Web page development to any major.
  • Students will be able to identify characteristics of good, effective Web pages and incorporate them into their own work.
  • Students will have a working knowledge of HTML/CSS, and the Internet, enabling them to author creative, high-quality Web pages and to troubleshoot corrupt HTML/CSS documents.
  • Students will be familiar with several different HTML/CSS editors, WYSIWYG and otherwise.
Course Policies
  • Late Assignments: No assignment will be accepted late without penalty, unless you notify me in advance and present documented evidence of illness or emergency.
  • Incomplete Assignments: Each incomplete assignment will decrease your final grade.
  • Plagiarism: Plagiarism and other cheating will not be tolerated.
