WELCOME

I am a native of central Illinois, but starting to consider myself as a Hoosier. After college, I was hired by Andersen Consulting (now known as Accenture) as a computer consultant. While working, I lived (I use that term roughly as I was traveling most of the time) in several location such as St. Louis, Peoria, IL, Chicago, and Bloomington, IL before moving with my husband to Ft. Wayne in 2002. With my consulting job, I got to travel to a lot of exciting locations including London, San Francisco, Denver, Dallas, Chicago, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Kansas City, and Omaha.

I had my first child - Haley in July 1999. I continued to work at Accenture until I found out I was expecting another child - Tyler was born in September of 2000. They are only 14 months apart and keep me really busy, but they are good friends. I decided to leave consulting (due to the travel committment) and started my second career as a college instructor. I started at Illinois State University and remained there until my husband's employer (State Farm) transferred us to Ft. Wayne, IN. John is originally from Huntertown, IN and a graduate of Carroll High School, so it was coming home for him. He became the State Farm Agent in New Haven, IN in December 2003.
