Teaching Philosophy:
I want my students to understand the public affairs arena on both a theoretical and a practical level.
My academic training gives me a grounding in theoretical concepts, while my years spent as a practitioner
in the public affairs arena in the State of Illinois give me a unique perspective to bring to the classroom and share with my students.
I believe learning can, and should, be a positive experience that inspires individuals to work toward
being the very best that they can be.
