Lab book: Geoscience Laboratory by Tom Freeman 5th Edition. Also need hand lens.
Tests: There will be no formal test for the lab, however, your lab report is due at the end
of each lab period unless otherwise directed by the instructor. Will use your graded best six
lab reports (60%) You are required to write a one and one half space-page report for each
field trip and to submit your report through the assignment drop box no later than 5 pm when due.
The field trip reports (2) are worth 5% each. NO HARD COPY WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Flood certificate (5%). Quizzes (20%) will be given at any time (during lab) without notice.
NO MAKE UP FOR Quizzes. 
Five-minute power point presented by each student on any relevant topic of interest in the class (5%)

Students will choose any topic in the lab and prepare a five-minute power point presentation at the
end of the course. Some days have been set aside for makeup for particular labs as no other make-up
will be allowed (see the make-up labs & dates).
(Grading scale A=100-90, B=89-80, C=79-70)
