CONFERENCE OUTLINE

The International Forum on the US and China�What They Can Learn from Each Other is organized by Purdue University Fort Wayne, Indiana, Hebei Academy of Social Sciences, China, University of the West, Los Angeles, Chung Yuan University, Taiwan, East China Jiaotong Univeristy, China, and the Association for Chinese Managenent Educators (ACME), USA. The goal of this international conference is to provide a forum for scholars from the US, China and other places to exchange information and ideas on how the US and China can improve its relationship and particularly how each can learn from the one another�s perspectives.

 

The conference will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Purdue University Fort Wayne, Indiana; and on Thursday, November 15, 2018 participants will move to the Univeristy of the West, Los Angeles. There will be paper presentations, keynote speeches and group dicscussions on relevant topics in both places.

SUBMISSION AND REVIEW OF PAPERS

We invite you to submit your original research abstracts or full paper written in English using MS Word to https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ifusc2018, by October 26, 2018.

 

Papers for the meeting will be reviewed anonymously and authors will be notified of the decision by November 5, 2018. All accepted research papers/abstracts will be eligible for presentation at the forum and they should register on or before the final registration deadline. We also invite volunteers to participate as discussants and track chairs. Further information about submission instructions and the conference is available at http://myacme.org.

 

Quality papers will be suggested to the following journals for possible publication after further formal reviews.

l   The International Journal of Management Theory and Practices

l   Chung Yuan Management Review

l   Economic Forum (published by Hebei Academy of Social Sciences in Chinese)
