Latin is offered in a four-semester sequence, and can be used to fulfill Language Requirements for the College of Liberal Arts and the College of ScienceIf you have any questions about Latin and Latin courses at PFW, please contact Dr. Fleming from the Department of English and Linguistics:flemingd@pfw.eduIf you have previous experience with Latin, please contact Dr. Fleming to make the best choice for placement.Dr. Fleming's classes use the Lingua Latina per se illustrata series, which is entirely in Latin. We will learn to speak and read Latin. Even if you have previous Latin experience, if you have not studied Latin in an all-Latin classroom, your best option is probably to start in Elementary Latin I.
