Sumukhi Sri Sai Mathapati

Thomas Bolinger

Hello, my name is Sumukhi, and I am an international student from India. I am currently pursuing a master's in computer science at PFW. I aspire, like every other young mind in this world. I wanted to select something that would not come across as a burdening work but rather something that I would relish having to do every day, and hence, computer science makes it my ideal choice for further studies and a career. I completed my bachelor's in computer science, which involved rigorous training in programming and algorithms over the past four years. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with Dr. Coronado on a project this semester. This will help me gain work experience and good real-world exposure. On a personal side, I like art and dance. They have been my stress relief since childhood.

Matthew Hunt

Thomas Bolinger

Hello! My name is Matt Hunt. I am majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Information Systems at IPFW. I will graduate in May 2019. I grew up in Huntington, IN and graduated from Huntington North High School with an academic honors diploma back in 2015. Since my sophomore year in high school I have had a passion for programming in particular web development. During my first three years in college, I worked at Valbruna Stainless as am Microsoft Dynamics CRM developer intern. During winter break of my junior year, I realized my time as a college student was coming to an end and that the window for me to do something adventurous was closing. The summer after my junior year, I got accepted to go to a summer camp with my church in Colorado and work for the YMCA of the Rockies. I am now working with Dr. Coronado on a project for a local industry. Some other fun facts about me: I enjoy hanging out with friends, exercising, playing video games, and I am also the president of Mastodon Catholic, a student organization at IPFW.

Alex Kaylor

Thomas Bolinger

My name is Alex Kaylor. I graduated from Huntington North High School with Academic Honors, in Huntington, Indiana. I have a musical background of playing the drums as a hobby for over 14 years. I live on a family agricultural farm in the country in Huntington County. Living on a farm, I can transfer a lot of the values of hard labor, into my current degree and my future career opportunities. I am energetic, humorous, friendly, and easily to work with in a team. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Systems, and a minor in Computer Science. I was introduced into Information systems by wondering how databases run, and are kept running 24/7. I am very passionate in Information Systems, and I am willing to take it further into the security sector someday. Given the opportunities of projects at IPFW, I believe in teamwork, and how it improves in finding multiple solutions to an issue. Teamwork is essential and is needed to pursue new ideas, and to achieve the unachievable.

Matthew Kemerly

Matthew Kemerly

My name is Matt Kemerly. I'm pursuing a BS in Information Systems with a minor in Computer Science. With regard to my education, I can confidently say that I most enjoy coding - particularly in .net environments, but that is not to say that I don't take interest in the project management and business courses that are also part of the IS program. On campus, I'm involved in a peer mentor program, as well as these projects. Outside of class, I enjoy reading and writing, and weekend game nights with my friends.

My interest area is database, especially DBA or Data mining. I think this is very attractive field because I can collect all data which I want to see at once. I’m very excited to join this Dairy Chem project and look forward to working with everyone. For a personal side, I like to watch Sci-Fi movies and play board games with friends. After graduation, I want to be in the Database field, and I feel like this project is a great opportunity for me to gain experience, and valuable skills in the field.

Thomas Bolinger

Thomas Bolinger

Hello, my name is Thomas Bolinger, and I’m currently a senior in my last semester of undergraduate studies at IPFW. So many experiences have defined my academic development up to this point. A few of them include industry sponsored projects much like the ones available on this site. During the summer after my freshmen year, I worked for the computer science department as a junior developer for a project sponsored by Parkview Health System, Inc. It involved visual analytical tools and telemedicine revolving around a stroke order set reporting system. Throughout the following summer and fall, I worked as a lead developer for the department on an IN-MaC Technology Adoption Program focused on data warehouse development and visualization-based business analytics. Both of these projects really enriched my career skills of project management, work ethic, leadership, and technical knowledge. I would recommend an industry-sponsored IPFW project to any student willing to take their academic development into their own hands. Along with the project experience, I have a wide variety of other interests. I am involved in music playing as a drummer for church and multiple universities for musicals, choirs, pep bands, etc. and I play piano and sing for church as well. On another hand, I actively serve the computer science department as a tutor, teaching assistant, and mentor to fellow students. I want to help and give back to others as a reflection of the kindness and care that God gives me every day. On yet another hand (yes I run out of them sometimes) I have collaborated to publish research about the effects of depth perception in a magnified virtual environment. I have an interest in computer graphics, and the paper revolved around graphics. The research is soon to be presented in Tokyo, Japan in February, 2018 and published in the ACM Digital Library. I am proud of these accomplishments, but mostly thankful for the various faculty at IPFW who provide these opportunities to students who wish to succeed in various avenues.
Lastly, I recently discovered a passion for teaching. I plan to return to IPFW as a member of the computer science graduate program. In addition, I am applying for the GTA position in hopes of experiencing some teaching to confirm my interest and passion to educate and serve others. I look forward to the future. I yearn to be a force for good, and I believe the direction I am going will allow me to be just that.
